Selection Process for SA Internship
The selection process to become a Science Alliance Intern is described below.
- Freshman and Sophomores who are interested in science research can submit an application and letter of recommendation to become an SA Intern.
- The student is then interviewed by the SA Internship selection committee. This committee may include IBA Co-Directors, staff, and a faculty member from the student’s area of research.
- Selected students will start the process of searching for a mentor and lab to conduct research in.
- Selected students register for IBA:1041 - IBA Student Development Seminar (1 s.h.). Seminar section is dependent on student's entry point into the program and should be determined with program staff.
